Private tour Seville – Salvador, Casa de Pilatos and Metropol

On this route we will take a tour of the artistic development of the city from the Mudejar, through the Renaissance, Baroque, regionalist and contemporary styles. To do this we focus on two great monuments: Church of the Divine Savior and the Ducal Palace of Medinaceli, better known as Casa de Pilatos.

Discover the magnificent Church of the Savior, former main mosque. Get to know its interior where you will also admire some of the best works of art that participate in the Sevillian Holy Week processions.

I walked through the area that in Arab Seville was the center of the city, (where they gathered for Friday prayer). A neighborhood full of life and local businesses where you can find the perfect outfit to go to the April Fair, Rocío, any social event or popular festival.

The second monument is a Mudejar style palace. The Casa de Pilatos is one of the most emblematic buildings of Andalusian civil architecture of the 16th century and presents a combination of Italian Renaissance and Spanish Mudejar styles.

We will also be able to see the exteriors of some more recent buildings from the 20th and 21st centuries where the most avant-garde architecture finds its place, in the Plaza de la Encarnación. There we will end the route so that whoever wishes will have the option of accessing the interior of the Metropol-Parasol building, better known as “las setas”
