Tour Details and Description
The tour begins at the Church of El Salvador, former Grand Mosque of the city and today one of Seville’s most artistically rich temples. Inside, you will admire some of the most revered images and artworks of Seville’s Holy Week. Next, we will stroll through the area that was the central hub of the city during the Moorish period, a neighborhood today bustling with life and local commerce, where you will find traditional attire for the April Fair, El Rocío, and other popular celebrations.
The second monument on the tour is the Casa de Pilatos, one of the most iconic buildings in Andalusian civil architecture, uniquely combining Italian Renaissance style with Spanish Mudéjar. Its visit allows you to discover one of the finest examples of a 16th-century noble palace in all of Andalusia.
The tour finishes at Plaza de la Encarnación, where we will contemplate the exteriors of some of the most unique buildings in contemporary Sevillian architecture. Anyone interested can optionally access the interior of the Metropol Parasol, popularly known as “Las Setas de la Encarnación.”
